Let's have a self-referential episode!

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 111702

You pick out a comic book from one of the racks. Apparently it's "The Never Ending Quest", issue 111702 (now there's a long-runner!). On the cover you are startled to find is woman looking exactly like you, standing inside a comic book store, holing a comic book and looking quite startled. At the bottom of the cover is a a small blurb:

"A new character enters the story! Will she save the universe... or destroy it?"

You find the clerk standing behind you, looking down at the comic in your hand.

"Oh yeah, that's the latest issue. I dunno if it's any good, I stopped reading The Never Ending Quest somewhere around issue 83833. I really enjoyed the shoggoth arc, but after a while it started getting really weird. Apparently they've introduced a new main character, but I dunno if that's going to help."

  1. You buy the comic.
  2. You steal the comic.
  3. You rip the comic apart.
  4. You point out to the clerk that you look exactly like the woman on the cover.
  5. You throw away the comic in panic and run outside.
