The coconut crackled into life and Janeway entered the code that would
send a communique flashing towards the star sol, the planet earth, the
city of San Francisco. "This is Captain Kathryn Janeway of the Federation
Starship Voyager; I repeat this is the Captain of the Federation Ship
Voyager."
Static seemd to be the only reply when suddenly, from out of the long- range coconut came the sound of heavy breathing! ~~damnit! even out in space we get crank calls!!!!~~ she thought. But then, the breathing resolved into the croaking voice of a communications officer at the tail end of a thirteen-hour duty: "What kind of sick joke is this? The Starship Voyager was lost three years ago!"
