Stacy Reads the Scroll

She put those questions aside for the moment, and started reading the scroll. She had no trouble with the language, but it was difficult to decipher the ornate script, especially as the passage of hundreds of years had done nothing for the scroll's legibility. Eventually, she had made out as much of the scroll as was possible.

1. It was some nonsense about some beings called the Cardasii. [2095]
2. It described a quest to find and kill a mighty dragon by one Lord Frederigo De'Honaire.
3. As she translated, several illuminations on the scroll caught her eye...
