Suddenly, from hidden spots up high, various bones rained down on them. Sir Cuitous flight abillity protected Astra from harm, though he was still dazed and confused from the barrage. The rain of bones stopped.

  1. Scott Chen appeared out of the darkness.
  2. Confused, Sir Cuitous ate a rabbit.
  3. Under the International Treaty of Dark Forces, Astra demands parlay. And new clothing. She gets both.
  4. Several of the bones were skulls. They began to fly around and talk.
  5. Astra bounded up the side of the valley and subdued one of her attackers. He was a small, wiry man she knew from an old diplomatic mission to the Three Kingdoms.
