The Never Ending Quest - Episode 110339

The knight stepped inside gratefully. As Riella was gathering parchment and a writing implement, he introduced himself as Sir Gavin Montalet of Allaria. If Riella had still been Fred, he might have recognized the lad as the enthusiastic young page who had been assigned to one of Fred's closest friends when he had left on his quest many years before.

Riella left the parchment and pen on the table as she began to prepare stew, as her mother had taught her to do should anyone arrive while she was away. The brew would put this knight straight to sleep and then Wenda could decide what to do with him when she returned.

  1. Gavin accepted the stew gratefully, and soon was snoring softly on the table.
  2. Gavin declined the stew, and began to imply that he would leave soon if he did not receive directions. In a panic, Riella swung a chair over his head when his back was turned.
  3. Gavin declined the stew, but Riella managed to get him to stay until her mother returned from herb-collecting.
  4. Gavin knew that this girl was in fact Fred. He had brought a token from the Allarian court wizard that was supposed to restore the enchanted knight's mind after prolonged exposure, but he was wary of staying here long enough for it to work.
