The Never Ending Quest - Episode 109768

Fred felt a pang at the sight of the knight, forcibly reminded that not very long ago she herself had been a knight, strong and brave. But she could spare only a moment for the thought. The knight had pulled a coil of rope out of his backpack, and now he tossed the free end towards her. Fred knew that she would have to grab it at the first attempt. The river was flowing much too fast for the knight to have time to pull the rope in and throw it a second time before she would be borne away downstream and out of reach.

  1. Fred manages to catch the end of the rope and the knight starts to haul her in.
  2. The knight's throw is too inaccurate for Fred to catch the rope.
  3. Fred catches the rope, but as the knight starts to haul her in it slips from her grasp.
