Fred frowned. "I don't know if that's..." But Narissa was already swimming away. Fred found that, in the absence of any orders, she was able to follow after her of her own free will. And she did so, alarm rising quickly inside her at the implications of this suggestion. Narissa stopped in her potions room, which did nothing to help Fred relax. "I don't think I want--" she began, but the sea witch interrupted, holding out a small vial and saying, "Drink up!" Fred's slender arm reached immediately for the vial without her commanding it to. Her graceful fingers curled around it, and with no physical hesitation, she threw her head back and downed the whole thing. Once every drop was gone, she flung the vial across the room with as much force as she could muster, gasping, "What did you just do to me?" Narissa gave a dismissive gesture. "Don't worry about it, dear. Now, please go fetch me a snack; I'm famished." Fred immediately darted to the kitchen area, grabbed one of those... things Narissa liked eating that she still hadn't come close to identifying, and returned to the potions room. She waited, something like an unexplainable anxiety bubbling up inside her, as Narissa took a bite. Not ten seconds passed before she blurted, "What should I do now?" The sea witch smiled. "You could start by polishing my castle top to bottom till it shines. The supplies are in the room down the hall." Fred passed the next several hours working vigorously, her thoughts never straying from the task at hand. It was, of course, not enough time to polish the entire castle, but she had made substantial progress when she suddenly stumbled, dazed for a moment at the presence of air around him, the physical transformation he'd gone through, and the teleport itself.
