The Never Ending Quest - Episode 109514

It was an old quarrel between a sorcerer and sorceress that had just flared up again when they foolishly tried, for the sixth or seventh time, to sit down and work out their grievances. Such attempts had always ended like this. Now was just a continuation.

The sorceress flipped the table over and sent a fireball towards her old rival, which he deflected. Most patrons of the inn immediately fled screaming towards the exits, but Belboz was among the last, as she had to take a moment to come to grips with the fact that she was not currently capable of intervening here.

In retaliation, the sorcerer...

  1. transformed half a dozen of the patrons, Belboz included, into bulls, which immediately charged the sorceress.
  2. sent out a blast of magic that the sorceress dodged, and instead enveloped several patrons, Belboz included, turning them to stone.
  3. sent out a shock wave that shook the entire inn to its foundations. Belboz fell, struck her head against a table, and succumbed to blackness.
