The Dread Pirate Lots

Moments later the infamous Lots had landed, and stood before Fred, sizing him up. "So the great Sir Fred believes he can defeat me, does he?" Lots asked. Sir Fred wasn't sure if he was talking to anyone in particular, but decided that a reply would be appropriate.

"I'll take my chances in a fair fight," he replied boldy. Lots gave a vicious laugh..

"A fair fight," he repeated with a wicked smile. "Do you really believe such a thing exists these days? You are a valiant and noble knight, sworn to uphold chivalry and justice with your sword and your wits. I am a lawless pirate, versed in the arts of sorcery. I adhere to no moral code, and I can drive you mad with a word, faster than you could take one swing at me with that oversized chisel of yours," Lots boasted, indicating Fred's sword with a wry smirk. "Hardly an even match."

"Sorcery is the weapon of the cowardly," said Fred, his face expressionless. "Draw your sword, and let us try to kill each other like civilized people."

1. "Very well," replied Lots. "I accept your challenge."
2. "Well spoken," replied Lots. "In deference to your bravery, I shall withdraw peacefully from this place."
3. "I have no sword," replied Lots, "nor do I have need of one." Suddenly, Lots cast a spell on Fred, causing him to go mad.
