Belboz the Necromancer

"Hello, " says the old man. "My name is Belboz the Necromancer."

"Necromancer?" you say. "Do you do magic?"

"Yes, I do. For a reasonable fee, I can do any magic that I know. Other magic will have to wait until I can finish studying this tome."

"Cool!" you say. "How reasonable?"

"Depends on how much effort it takes me to cast a spell." comes your reply.

1. Ask the magician for a spell that will protect you from the Dragon's breath.
2. Ask the magician to accompany you on your mission.
3. Ask the magician for directions to the Dragon.
4. Ask the magician to "upgrade" your sword.
