Strange Fears and Mysterious Forebodings

"No, no!" cried Betty. "That was the Second Doctor, remember? Coming in from the tunnel entrance. We're taking the front door route, so we shouldn't come upon that particular trap."

Ragan smacked herself lightly on the head, looking embarrassed. "Oh, right. Stupid of me." Then she chuckled slightly. "Too bad, though. It might have been interesting to see what kind of images it would come up with for this big old group."

"Anyway," said Betty, turning to address the rest of them, "I think we should be just about there..."

She trailed off as a strange feeling began to overtake her, an icy-fingers-up-the-back, somebody-is-watching-me kind of feeling. She shot a disturbed look at her red-haired counterpart, who was looking similarly disturbed. Suddenly, Ragan exclaimed "strange fears and mysterious forebodings!"

"What?" asked Turlough. He was looking particularly freaked out. Ragan put a calming hand on his shoulder. "It's the last obstacle, sort of. Rassilon's mind reaching out to attack us." She turned to the First Docor. "That's how you put it, anyway."

"Attacking us?" Turlough said, sounding even more panicky.

"It's harmless," put in Betty quickly. "It can't hurt you. Just ignore it."

"Come on," added Ragan. "We just need to keep going. We are almost there."

They all continued to follow her: the elves and Time Lords (along with the dragon and AI/golem) not looking particularly bothered, the humans making a visible effort to swallow their fear. In a few moments, the strange feelings had faded...

1. ...and a moment later, they found themselves at the entrance to the Tomb.
