The Never Ending Quest - Episode 108699

Hannah was taking one of her many naps when it happened. She woke up filthy, as usual, and quickly noticed the fence the fairies had built nearby, not unlike the one she had started out in, back when there was a possibility of her running off.

The mother and son—called Andrea and Daniel—were clinging to each other, terrified, and they watched warily as Hannah approach. Hannah wiped some mud off her face and onto her arm, and waved. "Hello! You're usually much bigger. The fairies chose you to join us, didn't they? I'm so happy for you!"

They blinked in confusion. Hannah noticed their clothes. Daniel had a grassy tunic, while Andrea wore a simple yet elegant violet petal dress. "I love your dress!" Hannah gushed.

"Are you... human?" Andrea asked tentatively.

Hannah shrugged. "Yeah, I guess, but I've been with the fairies for a long time. I dunno how long. Feels like forever." It had been eight years. "I'd never go back to my old life. You'll see soon. This is the best thing that's ever happened to you. I'm so excited!"

Daniel wasn't sure what to make of this, but Andrea was decidedly terrified.

  1. Andrea's husband and daughter had seen what had happened and rushed inside. Perhaps there was a chance they could find someone who could reverse this.
  2. Nobody had witnessed the mother and son's shrinking. There was little hope of recovery.
