All it took was a simple spell which made it so that the troll--who Belboz decided to call Grunga--would need to eat only once a week or so, and he sent her down into the depths to the most boring post in the world. Fortunately for her, she was now incredibly stupid and in absolutely no need of entertainment. There was nothing going on in her mind. So there she stood in front of his vault, of course allowing him to pass to retrieve items he wished to use, and being given meals of dead rats and well water on a weekly basis, but little else ever happened. This would be her life now. Trolls never lived to be older than eighty-five, averaging around seventy-five, and Belboz had intentionally equated her to a young adult around the age of ten.
