The Never Ending Quest - Episode 1077

Astra watched as Lord Frederigo D'Honaire pored over the ancient tomes, but winced rather unexpectedly as a churning feeling assaulted her gut. This sudden feeling was accompanied by a strange hunger welling up, as well as a distinct tingling of the glyphs upon her arms.

She looked down, trying to determine what was happening. Examining closer, she could see that her arms were...changing somehow. Her nails seemed longer, and her hands looked as if they were twisting. Watching, she saw her fingernails lengthen, sharpen, and her hands become gnarled. Stranger still, she saw tiny hairs, chestnut brown like the hair of her head, sprout sporadically upon her forearms and shoulders.

  1. Astra realizes what is happening, and runs off down a tunnel to complete the change, so she won't risk hurting her friends.
  2. Astra is transfixed, fascinated by the change and heedless of the danger to her friends.
