Helen flashed them a grin. "Well, I've succeeded in breaking the code. Not a bad piece of work, if I do say so."

"And?" Stacy queried with ill-concealed impatience.

"And," said Helen, tapping a few keys on the computer, "there's quite a lot of information here." She pointed to a list of filenames that had appeared on the screen. "It'll take some time to go through it all, but it looks like there might be some really useful stuff here."

The man beamed at Helen. "Wonderful!" Then he turned to Stacy.

1. "You will stay and help us go through this data, Ms. Jones, of course?"
2. "Helen and I will start going through it all. Why don't you go and get some rest?"
3. "Excuse me. I've got to go and make a phone call."
4. "Well, this means we won't be needing your assistance any longer."
