The Never Ending Quest - Episode 107169

Astra decided that it would be sensible to deal with her immediate problem, and that she would not worry about how to explain herself to the house's owners until and if it became relevant. She went inside and, because it was unsurprisingly even gloomier than it was becoming outside, took the oil lamp that was hanging up next to the door. She managed to find a taper, lit it from the fire that luckily was still burning in the hearth, and with it managed to light the lamp.

Now that she had light, she took the lamp with her and explored the house.

  1. She found a large bedroom containing three beds of different sizes. One would be too large for her, one too small, but the third looked just right.
  2. She found the dinning room. On the table was a plate covered by a raised metal lid. When she lifted it, she discovered a tasty-looking cold meal.
  3. She found a study. She was rather surprised to find such a room in what she had thought was a farmhouse. There was a letter on the desk, which she couldn't resist reading.
