Stacy wondered when he had been instructed, and by whom. He'd only been gone about twenty seconds! Maybe he had a radio in his head or something... She realized suddenly that he was saying something, something like "I am required to inform you that you have certain rights..." I'm in trouble again, she thought. Where's that Doctor guy when I need him?

  1. Suddenly, the door opened behind her.
  2. She looked around, and realized that there were several uniformed people standing behind the android, giving her disapproving looks.
  3. She suddenly realized that there was another person -- apparently a human person -- with the android this time.
  4. "Let go," she said. "You're hurting me!"
