The Never Ending Quest - Episode 106637

If anyone was to come out of the farmhouse while Astra was climbing down the ladder or across the rope bridge they could hardly fail to see her. So she leapt into the haycart.

She carried out the manoeuvre perfectly. However the cart was on a slight slope and did not have a brake. The jolt of Astra's landing in the hay was enough to start it rolling downhill. It kept rolling until:

  1. Astra was able to jump out. Knowing how to break a fall, she was not hurt.
  2. It finished up in the farm's duck-pond, where it sank.
  3. It rolled through the open back door of the farmhouse (it was a very big door) into the kitchen, eventually being stopped by the opposite wall.
