The Never Ending Quest - Episode 106358

"It's some sort of bizarre tool," the second Astra remarks after they find a screwdriver in the top drawer of the librarian's desk. "I think it can help us escape!"
"How do you use it?" muses the first Astra.

The two Astras return to the book return slot. After several minutes of studying the slot and the screwdriver, they are struck with a brainstorm. Astra I starts to use the screwdriver to remove the screws holding the metal portion of the return slot. It takes Astra a moment to learn a fundamental lesson of using a screwdriver: lefty loosy, righty tighty.

After several minutes...

  1. The hole in the wall is bigger, but the Astras still cannot escape through it.
  2. The removal of the book return slot leaves a hole big enough to escape through.
  3. Both Astras are buried by an avalanche of returned library books.
