Another Piece of Luck

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 106314

Josh and Astra had another piece of luck when a sudden squall whipped up the powdery snow which lay deeply everywhere except on the cleared road and sidewalk, and reduced the visibility to no more than twenty yards. (On the other hand it wasn't very lucky to have some unknown sniper firing at them.)

"Come on!" Astra said. "There's a community centre just up the street. If we can reach it before the snow clears then we should be safe." So they sprinted up the street towards it.

  1. They make it inside the building.
  2. They haven't gone far when the wind drops as suddenly as it had started, and the visibility quickly clears. They are caught in the open, a fair distance from the nearest cover.
