Mitchell screamed wildly as he spun ass-over-head through the foggy air. He lost all his pocket change, seven lost library cards, his canteen I.D. and four winning scratch-off tickets, a loss of eight dollars and fourteen cents.
He also somehow found a ticket to a Green Day concert schedule for next week later Thursday. Maybe he could go.
Purely by luck, Mitchell landed on the couch, unharmed. The laws of physics bounced him right off.

  1. He thumped to some soft grass, blinded by fog, and got to his feet.
  2. He skimmed past some sort of chalky cliff edge and continued to fall.
  3. He landed on R. Lee Ermey, who was wearing body armor for demonstration purposes.
