The Never Ending Quest - Episode 10565

Suddenly, with a deafening blast, the colisseum exploded! Fred, Velus, and Exotica could hear screaming and confusion all around them as people ran from the streets toward the doors in the baths. The doors were opened by a group of people who looked like soldiers, who tried to restore order in the crowd. Fred, Velus, and Exotica, deciding that they didn't want to face whatever had caused the collisseum to explode, so they entered the doors.

Inside the doors was a room with grey marble walls, undecorated except for symbols on the wall. The people were cramped together.

Fred caught the attention of the nearest person, a middle-aged man with a beard. "Excuse me, what's going on here?" he asked.

  1. The man just looked on uncomprehendingly. Fred realized that probably no one here spoke Allarian.
  2. To Fred's surprise, the man did speak Allarian. "We're under attack," he said.
  3. The man grabbed Fred by the neck. "No more games," he whispered. "Where is the cloaking device?"
