Little did the prince know, this was a terrible idea that would endanger the kingdom, but of course Lilith agreed to it anyway; she had no choice.

He bade her a fond farewell and promised he'd be back in three weeks' time before riding off.

  1. The entire castle shortly fell into chaos, as Lilith had over time lost the ability to give orders herself.
  2. The very dragon that Lilith (as Fred) had originally set out to kill burned down a few villages, knocked down part of the castle, and demanded that Lilith surrender, which she did.
  3. The court wizard and a devious and observant lady-in-waiting changed Lilith's appearance to fit the lady's-in-waiting, and vice versa, so they could control the kingdom. Lilith went along with it.
