Fred attacks the 'dragon'?

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 10484

Fred pulls his sword and drives it deep into the woman. She screams, turns all black, then there is a bright flash of light, disguising the fact the author is lazy.
When Fred can see again, the dragon is slumped dead against the wall, the sword buried deep between it's eyes.
Fred tries to pull the sword out but it is stuck. Well, damnation.
He kicks the dead monster in the teeth. "That's for taking my sword in death, worm!" he cries. Then he remembers the naked maiden.
Fred soon discovers the woman's chains had turned to dust the second the dragon was dead.
She introduces herself as Astra, a princess from a neighboring kingdom.
Fred offers to lead her out and protect her from brigands, at least until they get some clothes for her.

  1. She accepts his kind offer.
  2. She tells Fred that along with killing the dragon, she was here to find her sister Nixy.
  3. She refuses and runs off on her own.
