The Doctor stared at the Master in puzzlement. The Master stared at the Doctor in puzzlement. The Bettys stared at each other in puzzlement. That just left Melissa, so, not wanting to feel left out, Stacy stared at her in puzzlement. At any rate, a long, puzzled moment passed.

It was the Master who broke the silence. "Ah. I see. You thought I'd stolen it." He sounded amused. "No, I'm afraid someone appears to have beaten me to it."

At that point, all four women started talking at once. "But who--?" "What--?" "How could--?"

The Doctor held up a hand. "One thing at a time." They all fell silent as the Doctor continued.

  1. "We need to get back to the control room to shut things down more permanently."
  2. "Since we no longer have my TARDIS, we'll have to borrow his."
