The Never Ending Quest - Episode 104442

As the hours after the birth of Hannah's twelfth child stretched on and on, Fred slowly began to realize that she was in perfect health. Weak, certainly, but she wasn't about to die.

When she woke up the following morning, Fred finally believed that they were going to make it. Which meant... what Belboz had told him had been wrong. Fred couldn't know what was coming from here on out.

Though a part of him was tentatively hopeful, mostly he was terrified of the idea of remaining trapped inside this girl for the rest of her natural life.

  1. The following day, a knock sounded at the door, and when Hannah opened it Fred was shocked to see Belboz.
  2. Throughout that day, however, Fred's thinking began to rapidly become more and more similar to that of Hannah. Finally he remembered what Belboz had said: "You will die after a long and painful final pregnancy..."
  3. Hannah's life did not change significantly. She and Henry continued to struggle desperately to stay afloat, and--of course--they got to work on having a thirteenth child.
