It turns out that the "litter" inside her survived her transformation. Uther says he's never seen a situation like this before, so he's not sure what will happen with her children when they are born. If she had stayed a dog, the pregnancy would have lasted only another month. But she's a human now, so they'll have to just play it by ear. In the months that follow, Uther teaches her how to be human again, and she gradually begins to remember what it feels like. Her recollections of the events in her life don't really return with any clarity, though, which frustrates her to no end.
She goes into labor after three months, and very suddenly finds herself the mother of eight. Her new children...
