Pruvyre, who has been a dog for more than four years now, wakes up one morning in a people bed. She takes some time to realize that she has hands, fingers, hair on just her head, no tail... It's a jarring experience. The sorcerer, who has not strayed far, enters the room almost immediately upon hearing an alarmed whimper. Before him lies the woman who he returned to her true form a few hours before. She appears to be a regular old lady, in her late fifties to early sixties, with long straight grey hair and a very thin figure. "Don't be afraid," he says. "My name is Uther, and I'm here to help you. You've been under a witch's spell for some time. Can you tell me your real name?" Pruvyre thinks she understands. The situation he described sounds very familiar, too... "Pruvyre," she says with some effort, after a long time. He chews the inside of his cheek thoughtfully. "All right, I will call you that, but if you remember a different name, please tell me." Suddenly, Pruvyre remembers that she is expecting, and her hand goes down to her stomach. It turns out...
