"Then, would you like me to...?" Merek gestures towards the scorch mark. Fred notices that the sprouts in his cheek are already almost reaching past his nose. Fred draws his sword. "No, I will do it this time." He slashes at the tree's trunk, and brings his sword back up to deliver another blow. But before he can even do that, the dryad who used to be Diana is springing from the wood in front of him, grabbing his arm, and... Merek watches in shock as the nymph kisses the knight deeply. Fred looks shocked as well at first, but then he closes his eyes and kisses her back. She draws away after several seconds, and Fred opens his eyes, which are now a mossy green. Merek watches in dread, knowing that whatever just happened can't be good, as the knight turns to him.
