Pruvyre is awakened from a sound sleep one night to see Zenobia standing at the edge of the fence, calling the name "Cordana." Pruvyre recognizes the witch, but feels little familiarity towards her due to Xanven's magical influence. "I've come to take you back home, Cordana," Zenobia says, trying to coax her to the edge. "Come on, my magic can't reach far enough over the fence to get you out." Pruvyre narrows her eyes suspiciously, but she pads over to the witch on the other side of the fence. Just when she's about to close the distance between them, a magical bolt flies from Xanven's tent and hits Zenobia. Pruvyre turns to see her current owner standing at the entrance of his tent.
