Diana rushes to the tree. She's never seen such beautiful grey bark in her entire life. She puts her ear against the trunk and leans on it, listening to the rustling of its leaves. She's fairly sure it's a maple tree, but she'll verify that eventually; for now she just wants to bask in its beauty... After about an hour, somebody taps her on the shoulder, and she turns. It's a man in his forties. "Miss?" he says, uncertain. "Are ya all right? You've been standin' there for a mighty long time."
