In Which Connar Meets Someone Else

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 103882

After packing for a while, Connar goes out for a little fresh air. When his eyes fall on a beautiful woman walking down the street, his heart just about leaps out of his chest.

He runs to her, and, taking her hand and dropping to one knee, says, "My dear, my name is Connar and my father is the innkeeper. We have never spoken before but I love you madly. Will you marry me?"

Something in her eyes changes, and she gasps and throws her arms around him. "Yes! Absolutely yes!"

They go somewhere private; meanwhile, Diana and Connar's family finish packing. Diana waits anxiously for Connar to come back inside.

  1. He does not return; he and the other woman have run off together to be wed.
  2. He returns after half an hour, obviously terribly distracted.
  3. Diana leaves to search for him, and finds him with the other woman.
