Cordana heads forward, keeping her eyes on the mountain range. The walk there is not as long as she might have expected, and thankfully she finds a stream of normal-coloured water as soon as she reaches the mountains. She drinks her fill, and keeps walking. The mountains seem peaceful, though Cordana begins to suspect they're completely devoid of animal life, because she doesn't hear a sound. However, after a quarter hour walk, she finds and kills a rabbit for a meal. There are animals here, they just don't seem to be saying anything. When Cordana is stepping over a flat stone, the ground beneath her suddenly begins to tremble, and Cordana scrambled forward with a tiny whimper. With a great grinding sound, a column of rock rises up directly behind her, stretching upwards until it towers several stories high. All the rocks in this mountain range move, she discovers as she keeps exploring. It's a very impressive sight to behold, though it can be dangerous, of course.
