Preparing for an Ambush

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 102570

Fred decides that he needs to take the wizard by surprise, and to kill him before he can cast a spell. He takes up a position beside the way into the cave, intending to plunge his sword into the wizard's back immediately after he has entered. It won't be the most honourable way to dispatch an adversary, but he feels that it is justified in the circumstances.

  1. All goes according to plan.
  2. Fred succeeds in killing the wizard, but not before he has cast a spell.
  3. Fred fails to kill the wizard.
  4. Fred has forgotten that Andrea told him that Zendar would have a servant with him to help him carry the rations. Unfortunately the servant enters first, and Fred kills him before he realises his mistake.
  5. Fred has forgotten that Andrea told him that Zendar would have a servant with him to help him carry the rations. Unfortunately the servant enters first. Fred aborts his attack, but the servant sees him and shouts a warning to his master.
