Deals and Promises.....

Wendy Fletcher went out and dated Richard Pini...and eventually married him. Oh, and they formed Warp graphics and produced Elfquest. Yes, Kuriel IS from that universe that mimicked Elfquest. Eh, what happened? Well, sorry. That's something you'll have to ask him in a bit over eight years. He and his friends need to get born again and all. Yes, on Terra Prime....best place we could put Kuriel and the other Elfquest elves on short notice." "Don't, by the way, ever try merging the TARDIS with it's earlier of later self so that they occupy the same space at the same time," Agent 1 murmurs to the Doctor. "That's another thing we needed to tell you personally. Had a serious problem with that a bit ago."

Probe was intensely curious at exactly what had occurred....if they could perhaps shed some light on the matter.

Probe didn't want to wait eight years to find out what the heck had happened....exactly, and he had a strange feeling that part of the answer lay within this couple....and mayhaps even the beautiful elfin child the new elves had adopted as their own.

"Ah, hope you don't mind me asking you something," the AI begins, "But I have a problem that I hope you can help me with."

"I'd be delighted," Fred 11 says magnanimously, as he hugged his wife to be.

"There is a bit of mystery going around about what a Rule said recently," Probe begins.

Kethiani (formerly named Astra) and Feir-dalen (formerly named Fred) look up in interest.

"I could also use some input from you also," Probe says, motioning to the elves via his monitor. "If I am asking too personal question, then stop me immediately.....I don't want to be rude."

"Okay, but I think it has something to do with my mention of what Rule 4 showed me...and perhaps the daughter of myself and my love?" Feir-dalen asks, guessing.

"Yes," Probe says, admiring the sharpness of the guess. "I was hoping that if you look at a picture you might....just MIGHT recognize them....and be able to shed some light on what happened..... If a working theory I have that I came up with due to my rather.....new knowledge I've obtained....holds out."

If true, then he'd be willing to share it. His knew talent was almost a living thing.....begging to be used and explored by the AI. The AI kept it under tight reign, not letting it take ahold to where her starts to abuse it, but his taste of the arcane had awoken a fierce hunger for knowledge in this new area.

"Here's the picture," Probe says as he flashes an image from a graphic novel made by Warp Graphics (creater of "Elfquest"-all characters found within their books and such copyrighted to the company).

"That's....them," Fred says softly, reliving those odd moments within the desert which belong to a world with two moons in the sky. Astra 11 squeezes his hand.

"We saw them briefly...and they looked as surprise to see us as we them," Astra says softly, remembering. "I also sensed an undercurrent of ....well, hostility from some...and maybe a touch of hope from the others?"

Kethiani notices the odd look her daughter gives the picture....as if she almost remembers something....only to see the look seem to melt away as the infant starts to giggle and smile at the two humans.

"There seemed to be a sense of oldness and wisdom within our daughter....along with a mixture of newness and innocence," Feir-dalen says, patting her daughter's hand fondly. "Mayhaps she is one of they yon elves who were somehow spared."

"Maybe," Probe smiled, "I think the fact that the Rule said that they had been born anew here has something to due with the two of you, Fred and Astra," Probe says slowly. "Something to do with the fact that they where near beings who's origins were from out of their own. A wild theory, I know, but I think that your presence created some type of paradox shield, let's call it, and brought this about."

"Now, I'm only going to share this idea with a select few Mages....but if I'm right I think I'll have a deeper understanding about magic, time, and such...." Probe smiled, "I promise I don't mean to make you test subjects....but after this day is over could I and a few other mages talk with you over this in detail?"

"Talking is okay," Fred finally says, "if that will help further knowledge and such....noble thing that would be."

The adult elves look at each other, then at their daughter, Ti'mma.

"He did say you had a special history," Kethiani says softly as their daughter smiled a beautiful infant smile at them.

The elves agree, as long as their daughter isn't made into a side show attraction!

"I thank you and promise you she'll not be a side show," Probe says warmly, then maneuvers the ship to the final landing sight in front of the castle.
