I take the box that appears to be a recycled Chinese food delivery box, rather haphazardly wrapped with old newspaper and duct tape (196:4), and open it. Inside I find a small box delicately wrapped with colorful wrapping paper with no ribbon, and coated with a small layer of clear resin. It would seem we've come to the end of this particular package. You see, it is further FRC tradition to make the final box of a boxes within boxes gift be near impossible to open. When a Rule encounters such a box, it must describe a unique way of opening it so that the contents can be brought out. I take out my blowtorch (you need to come prepared to these FRC gift exchanges) and go to work on the layer of resin. After I melt enough of it away, I open the package. Inside I find a FB100 gift certificate to the Fantasy Rules Emporium, slightly singed. Oops. I give my blowtorch (FB24.99) to FRC for assisting the committee in opening other gifts. -- Jeff Weston (Sir Toby) -- Rule Date: 2002-11-25 18:15:24 GMT
