Queen Heliastra frowned. That meeting had not gone as well as she would
have liked. Although the High Priestess had informed her that Astra was in
Allaria, she also said that there was nothing she could do. The
Queen had rather higher hopes for the ability of her High Sorceress to
affect the situation, and that is where things had gotten sticky. The High Sorceress had informed Heliastra that there was no way her magics could penetrate Allaria. The only way that she could possibly assist Astra would be to actually enter Allaria herself. The only problem, she informed the queen, was that to do so might put her under Reaibn's sway, depending on the level of his power. So, Aqualaria would then be out not only one princess, but its most powerful magic user as well. There was a compromise on the table, that she could ensorcell another individual with her awareness and send them in to find the princess. They could then help the princess get to Aqualaria, although the magical power that could be channeled through that person would be far less than that wielded by the High Sorceress herself. On top of all of these things, no one even knew if they would be able to get into Allaria, for anyone sent in never came back out. In any case, much as she knew her kingdom was the highest priority, getting her daughter out would give them intel that they desperately needed about the Reaibn problem.
