Revelations.This statment about a person knowing everything, strikes Scott as.....pretentious! Then, he remembers what all this Xanth stuff is about! It's a popular series that readers liked, and critics hated! It was a world of puns and magic. Chex had said as much, but it hadn't registered until now, for some reason!
A sudden mischevious grin graces Scott's mouth, and Chex is uneasy at the....gleam in Scott's eyes.
"Oh Yogi!" Scott mutters under his breath. "I don't think the Ranger is going to like this!"
"Going with you....to Humfrey's Castle....to get my.....and YOUR question, answered.....would be a true delight!" Scott says in a measured, but merry tone.
"How did you know?!..." Chex gasps. "I didn't tell you that!"
"Let's just say....a guy by the name of Mr. Jacob told me." Scott smiled "You still game? And.....I might even have......part of the answer to you....problems."
Chex looks at Scott warily. She's getting the creeps from this. Before she can say anything, Scott speaks.....
