| Fertal grimaced as two long, hairy arms scooped him up. The demonic
monkey monster man whose shoulder he was now flung over then scampered
back to the pentagram, leaving the room the same way it had came, via the
pentagram, as I've already stated and probably didn't need to restate
after the first time it was described in the previous episode and then
alluded to again earlier in this very long and protracted sentence. Let's
start over.
Fertal grimaced as two long, hairy arms scooped him. The monkey monster demon man whose shoulder he was now flung over then scampered back to the pentagram. After a brief moment their dire surroundings shimmered away and were replaced by a delightful rolling meadowland. A second later another monkey man demon monster appeared, the ragdollish (is this a word?) body of Artizza slung over his grotesquely hunched back. Lacking any soft or gentle touch, the monkeys dropped the elves to the ground and then disappeared back into thin air. The elves gathered themselves and took in the scene.Their spirits seemed to lift by simply breathing in the clean air of this gentle landscape. Bird songs filled the temperate hills, pleasant smells drifted on the wind and wandered up to meet their nostrils. Any memories of pain and horror seemed to dissipate altogether. "Oh, happy day!" Artizza proclaimed, spreading her arms as if to embrace the world. "Oh what joy!"Fertal was still deeply suspicious, however. "I think we're still in Hell, Artizza," he said glumly. "They just want us rested up so we can sign away our souls! Well I won't have it!" Artizza laughed. "Oh, don't be a grumpy guss!""I'm not being grumpy, I'm being real," Fertal glowered. "We're in Hell, no matter how pleasant it may seem." "Well let's enjoy it while it lasts!"Fertal shrugged. Why not? They both bounded off toward the blue horizon...
