Meanwhile, the new Champions are now deciding on what to call themselves......
Fre', presently in human form (a pleasant looking platinum blonde),
sums the situation up in as far as their name situation as well as their
entire lives. Everything had changed, and while their homeland's customs
forbade them from changing their birth names they no longer were who'd
they had been. Their bodies had been rearranged, their very atoms scrambled
into this new form. That, and they were definately NOT in their homeland
now. Customs were different here, and far be it from them to criticize
their new homeland's custom's (or lack there of) about birth names. In
a real sense, they had been reborn, thus new names were in order.
Thus, the characters again from elsewhere, this time with their
new names.
Winifred D'Honaire - This is the Fred D'Honaire that encountered
the Necromancer Belboz of his world within the Southern Caverns in his
quest to slay the Dragon of the Southern Caverns. However, the dragon was
only a ruse to get the king to send out his best man (Fred) to come out
to the caverns. The ruse was created by Belboz for the mage needed Fred
to help fulfill a prophecy to prevent a bunch of evil Amazons from sweeping
the land. The prophecy said that in order to prevent this evil from befalling
Allaria, the Great Kingdom, Fred must become a warrior lass and Belboz
also a young girl in order to somehow infiltrate and topple the invasion
before it really got underway. But due to the betrayal done by a disgruntled
apprentice (Elaine), Belboz and Fred were first trapped and then forced
through a magical portal that was reputed to be able to transform those
who walked through it in mind and body and then transport them away to
places unknown. Well, the two got transformed into powerful Amazonian warrior
woman and then plunked right down in the very heart of the evil Amazons.
Apparently Elaine had thought it was a great jest if they two, having lost
their memories, should join in arms against Allaria! But Fred remembered
himself....er....herself, and had been discussing with Belboz how to be
able to stop the invasion, when they and a bunch of Amazon warrior women
got transported to Terra Prime. Oh, and the now crushed Elaine of their
world also got teleported as well!
Was given the name Winifred to reflect her new self and to differentiate
herself from the other newcomes in conversation.
Phylicia - This is the Belboz that "Amazonian" Fred (now Winifred)
met within the Southern Caverns and transformed him into a lass of 15.
Tricked by his treacherous pupil, Elaine, he was himself transformed into
a girl WITHOUT a trace of magical power (his spell to transform into a
lass with magical might was superceded by Elaine). Marched through the
Transform Door, Belboz found himself now a powerful Amazon Warrior woman
along with "Amazonian" Fred in the very camp of the Amazons they'd been
out to stop! Belboz still Belboz, she and Fred had been talking on how
to stop the invasion, now that they'd arrived, when they got whisked away
to here on Terra Prime!
She regained her magical powers upon becoming a Champion, but finds
that her new body is well suited for physical combat
Frieda D'Honaire - This is the Fred D'Honaire that encountered
the Necromancer Belboz of his world within the Southern Caverns in his
quest to slay the Dragon of the Southern Caverns. However, the dragon was
only a ruse to get the king to send out his best man (Fred) to come out
to the caverns. The ruse was created by Belboz for the mage needed Fred
to help fulfill a prophecy to prevent a bunch of evil Amazons from sweeping
the land. The prophecy said that in order to prevent this evil from befalling

apprentice (Elaine), Belboz and Fred were first trapped and then forced
through a magical portal that was reputed to be able to transform those
who walked through it in mind and body and then transport them away to
places unknown. Well, the two got transformed into male centaurs somewhere
within the Blighted Forest (a place not found on Terra Prime). While Fred
was able to remember himself, Belboz became the centaur known as Auzu Brighteyes,
his past lost to him forevermore. This soon became apparent to Fred, but
before anything (if anything could be done) about their situation, Fred
saw through another magical portal (another Transform Door) the very Amazonian
warrior queen that was to invade his Allaria. Deciding to risk the Door
and take out the queen (and thus transforming the invading army into a
leaderless rabble), Fred charged through the door. While he retained his
memories, the noble knight found himself now a centauress. That and herself
falling unconscious due to the strain of the transformation upon her. Apparently,
the stamina reputed to centaurs wasn't enough to withstand the stress of
transformation.
But this all was for not when the evil mage/boy known as Elain was crushed
by a boulder from the enraged Fre'.
The disoriented centauress is now trying to adjust to her new self....and
is somewhat distressed at how....normal it feels to her. The same goes
for the Amazonian Fred and Belboz!
Fre' D'Honaire - This is the Fred D'Honaire that encountered
the Necromancer Belboz of his world within the Southern Caverns in his
quest to slay the Dragon of the Southern Caverns. However, the dragon was
only a ruse to get the king to send out his best man (Fred) to come out
to the caverns. The ruse was created by Belboz for the mage needed Fred

apprentice (Elaine), Belboz and Fred were first trapped and then forced
through a magical portal that was reputed to be able to transform those
who walked through it in mind and body and then transport them away to
places unknown. Well, the two got transformed into ogresses, with no memories
of their former lives! Teleported to the small (and isolationist) Ogre
Kingdom, the two were welcomed within the rouhneck hamlet of Ak'. Fre'
had been returning with her friend, Belda' (formerly Belboz) with their
latest catch, a young child caught in a snare trap (Jack), when Fred's
noble side jumped forth when the sight of the whimpering (soon to be a
ogre meal) child brought it forth. Soon, Fre' rescued Jack, and the two
ran to safety. On the way, Jack adopted Fre' as a replacement mother, and
the befuddled ogress found her "mothering" instincts kicking in and so
Jack became like her own cub.
Right now, not really desiring (or caring) that she'd been human before,
she had no desire to return to being Fred. However, her dim mind is beginning
to wonder what kind of future (what kind of mother) she could be for a
human child. Shouldn't a human woman be this darling child's mother? This
thought....disturbs her.
But, with her becoming a Champion and gaining the ability to switch
from a human woman to ogress and back AND have the intellect of a human
being quilled this worry. Thus now Jack has a mother and Fre' has a cub.
Sarah D'Honaire - This is the Fred D'Honaire that encountered
the Necromancer Belboz of his world within the Southern Caverns in his
quest to slay the Dragon of the Southern Caverns.
But due to the betrayal done by a disgruntled
apprentice (Elaine), Belboz and Fred were first trapped and then got transformed
them into what first only appeared to be more winsome and buxomy versions
of the girls they'd become. It would prove later on that Fred was now a
Hamadryad. This allowed more leeway in travel (a few hundred miles or such),
but still this meant that Fred was still pretty much rooted to Terra Prime
from that day forth upon her arrival! That is how it looks right now, anyway.
Unlike the others, this Fred did not get teleported via a Transform
Door. Instead, Elaine teleported he and Belboz to Terra Prime directly!
The reason why was revealed later as a means to KEEP her stuck in one reality
(being too far away in THAT manner from her bonded tree AND land would
have killed her before her becoming a Champion).
Belinda - This is the Belboz that Fred met within the Southern
Caverns and transformed him into a lass of 15. Tricked by his treacherous
pupil, Elaine, he was himself transformed into a girl WITHOUT a trace of
magical power (his spell to transform into a lass with magical might was
superceded by Elaine). Transformed first into a girl without an ounce of
magic to her name, then into a nymph (a beautiful creature that can not
go beyond a dozen steps beyond her host tree without fading and dying).
Teleported to Terra Prime, it appears that she's in a smaller "cage" than
Fred.
But with her becoming a Champion, this cage has been lifted and she's
regained her magical powers as before her transformation
Though with heavy heart at their apparent inability to change things
back home with the rampaging Amazon's back in two of the three "Two Girl
Prophecy" Terras, the "girls" vow to do their upmost to look after their
new homeland....and their new family.
But fate (ka to some) seems to have a strange sense of humor,
for while "The Two Girls" from each of their respective worlds can't return
home and while two out of three of their Allarias are still threatened
by rampaging Amazons (with the queen and strategic backbone of the third
exiled to a distant reality....never to return)......
-
Well, it
has to do with a set of Champions taking a certain Gunslinger and friends
to a Dark Tower.....
