Joan Obviously, the humans are going to be posing as trade merchants, but there is much still to be planned . . .or at least worked out as we go! That's right, my dear and loving husband Aaron is going to take a stab at playing a part that is beneath the station he was born to, yet again. Hopefully this time around, he shall find playing a merchant easier on his ego than playing as a castle servant! Beats him having to play the part of my demifox friend like he'd suddenly been forced into on his homeworld. He made a rather awkward vixen... Beyond that, we finally decide that planning more than in nebulous terms (i.e. not too much at all) for the near future is too unrealistic. We haven't even GOTTEN there yet! But at least we'd not come into this world with only the clothing on our backs. We needed a few things to make a believable merchant team! We have to have wares to sell if we are to play the part of merchants. I had taken some doing, but we are able to come across a traveling merchant (that form of trade is still alive and well here on Terra Prime. . . . for the moment) who had come here to the Elven Nation to sell his wares. The payment (from the family's "war fund") we offer for not only his wares (not too outlandish for where we might be going) but his wagon and oxen team is very generous. She's happy enough to accept, for she can now retire for the rest of her life (rather comfortably) on what we'd given! That done (only took minutes, amazingly enough) we soon find ourselves here! And after hashing out (the rather paltry planning session) what we'd do (head for the capitol and request and audience with the targets). . . . Well, we'd have gone straight onto the road forewith but we seem to have company! It is a darkly handsome man.....
