| Scott jerked awake, his heart pounding. Startled, he looked around
and sighed. He was in his own bed. "Thank God!" he thought "It was all
a really weird dream!" He got out of bed and got dressed. He pulled on
jeans and a t-shirt, and went out for a walk. He had a lot of thinking
to do. His girlfriend, Debbie, and he had been having some problems recently,
and she had laid down the law last night. Tonight she was hosting a costume
party, and it was his last chance to make things right.
"I HATE costume parties." Scott grumped. Just then he noticed an odd little shop he'd never seen named
"Necessary Things" Scott looked at it blankly for a second, then pulled
the door open and went in. The place was full of odd items of every sort,
and Scott headed towards....
