"Do you think we can get the Draconians interested in trade with Gilead and such here on Midworld?" I ask, "After all, I think we might have to tap them anyway for their aid."

That particular question sure led to a rather interesting developement!

One thing led to another and now we have Roland's original Ka-tet (the one prior to Jake, Susannah, and Eddie) standing here before us. They were summoned by none other than Roland the Younger's father, Steven for this task.

Odd enough that apprentice Gunslingers are getting tasked, all considered, but one of the group seems to have his eyes riveted on me instead of listening to Steven....
