| Astra greeted Frederigo, and struggled to her feet. And it really was
a struggle. She had slipped off her shoes when she began her swim, but
still wore the long velvet gown. Even when dry it had been heavy. Now,
wet through, it seemed to her to weigh a ton. "I'm going to have to take
this off," she said. "Don't look so alarmed. I'm sure when I magically
acquired the gown I acquired some underwear as well. In fact, I can feel
it against my skin." So she peeled off her sodden dress. Under it, she
was wearing a silk chemise. This was also wet, of course, and clung to
Astra's form in what Fred found a rather disconcerting way, but at least
it was light.
