Betty Attempts to Boycott This Storyline

Endless Perspectives - episode 94371

"Uh-uh." said Betty, digging her heels in and refusing to be pulled along. "Forget it. I'm not going ANYWHERE without an explanation, and especially not dressed like this." She turned back to the wardrobe, noticed a pink terrycloth bathrobe hanging on a hook inside (it seemed to be the only thing in there that wasn't either transparent or made up of two pieces of lace and a band-aid). She snatched it up an wrapped it around her, feeling at least slightly better.

"NOW will you come on?" asked the woman in an exasperated tone.

"No." Betty sat down on the chair by the dressing table, crossed her arms, and put on a resolute expression. "I refuse to participate in this storyline. Period."

The woman stared at her. "But... But you can't do that! You of all people should know that. This is Addventure! It won't LET you just sit around and not make a choice or refuse to participate. Try it, and SOMETHING is bound to happen to you, probably something terribly strange. Believe me, coming with me is likely to be a much better option."

Betty merely shook her head and continued to sit there. A moment passed.

  1. Amazingly, nothing happened.
  2. A swirling vortex opened up directly under Betty's chair, and she plummeted through.
  3. Two mean in leopard-skin G-strings (an unusual example of equal-opportunity Addventure exhibitionism, Betty reflected) showed up at the door asking what the holdup was.
