Inquirer While still rather not enarmored to this "Mrs Murray", I shall hold my peace now that she has ceased taking tones of command. I see that she'd smiled slightly in amusement at my annoyance but then again, so what? Cannot take offense at EVERY slight affront here in this land, else we would soon loose the ability to accomplish our goal: saving Chi's mind! I mean if I try to readdress every percieved wrong then . . . that'd soon be the only thing I and the rest of my friends would be doing (if I drag them along with me). . . . . I will put it this way on the matter: humanity has come a long way since the time of the Victorians. Not saying that Victorians are stupid or intentionally . . . rude or . . . Well, let's just say that my world has come a long way (sociological issue wise) since that time. Heck, if for some reason this "Mrs. Murray" should have been put in charge of a bunch of men in a leadership capacity then I'd rather understand her . . . mannerisms. Hey, this era isn't exactly the most . . . enlightened towards women's rights. Recognizing the worth of a woman and all that. Put a woman in charge and there's bound to be some . . . friction between her and the men. Creator knows I did a lot of study of the era to make a good game session for Orrosh in Torg and... Nevermind. . . . . Anyway, no doubt there would be both shock and awe (and more than a little bit of disgust) at the things my world has come to accept . . . Well, anyway, so long as "Mrs. Murray" stay's polite I'll stay polite. Long as she doesn't take on an air of command with my group, I'll be happy, okay? Anyway, I avoid trying to insist on finding out the manservant's name (being that such isn't done in Victorian England) and instead concentrate on being polite . . . I can do this, no problems! Done worse with MUCH . . . less enlightned people. Sure I can . . . Just as soon as the elves get back we'll . . . We hear the sound of some sort of disturbance coming from within the academy. "Good Heavens!" "Mrs Murray" says, raising an eyebrow. Shit! That's B'Elanna's cry of pain mixed in with the crash of pots and pans!! The elves are in trouble!! Now, before you ask, of COURSE I'm going to rush out to help them. Creator only knows what they've suddenly found. Sounds serious, whatever it is and I'm NOT going to let them handle it by themselves, for the sake "good manners" or not!! It's time to drop this act (at least for the moment) . . . Not bothering to be polite any more, I barrel past both Mister and Misses Murray (or whoever they really are), kicking off my shoes to make better time! They aren't built for running, shall we say and by the sound of it speed's of the essence. My friends, throwing caution to the wind, rush after me knowing that I'm right on that! Better put ruses aside in order to help a team member in need than let them come to harm, you know! Not like fooling this bunch behind me has ANYTHING to do what so EVER with Cavorite (and thus saving Chi's mind), right? So . . .
