Velus suddenly whined and his body started jerking. His skin seemed to be rippling as he continued to jerk more and more violently. Finally he collapsed on the floor in a final spasm. He feels his body warp and change with that final spasm, but it's NOT something he wants. He feels something alien within his mind. A drive. An INSTINCT to hunt, KILL! As his mind reals while the dog teen tries to keep control of his mind (and body) from this alient thing within him, Exotica and the others gasp as Velus grows in size (something like hip level or something like that, from the smaller canine form). A third set of legs thrust out from Velus's bod, and the dog's eyes grow red and demonic looking. That is, they take on an unearthly red glow! Anything more than that is lost to Velus' friends, because this little (or no longer so little) doggie has just got zapped to locals unknown due to Exotica's exotically messed up spell! To another realm he goes. As he arrives, he loses his struggle with the enemy within and the last of his humanity fades as the enemy instinct permeates his brain and body... Velus is gone, for all intents and purposes.... But not. This being a fantasy realm we're talking about here, it stands to reason that somethings things found in fantasy stories happen. In this case, though the body still lives on (in one very HOSTILE form, believe me), the mind just cannot hold Velus' human intellect and personality. Brains just not advanced enough for it, reader! So in effect, Velus is dead. However, since this is a fantasy setting, that doesn't necessarily mean that Velus is gone. Now, don't know what your religious beliefs (believe or not or whatever), but there is a VERY disoriented ghost being dragged around by a leash of sorts from the still living body. The former teen dog was no longer a canine, but still a hound... A Brindz Hound! Blood tracker. Very dangerous. Ask anyone who's seen Farscape's episode: Chricton Kicks knows what those are.... Ah, later! Right now, the monster that was now Velus growls and slobbers as it's master (unaware of the switch between the original and this new one) lets it loose! Happened sometime between time freezing for those aboard with a Key component of some kind put in the replacement hound (and the original eaten by one RF for fun) and the Velus replacement put in. Sometime between the wormhole opening up and swallowing this Living Ship and spitting it out, somewhere else next to another Living Ship (even IF the other Living Ship is in a coma of sorts). Sometime between that and the time when a Transport Pod (or two) set down (right next to another rather beat up Transport Pod, that had been piloted by...). Ah, nevermind! You'll find out! Some of you, I bet, know what is up anyway! "Release the Brindz Hound!" Ilkog shouts.
Around him, the pirates begin a chorus of 'barking' noise. Sikozu (a Farscape character), terrified, dashes away, John (another Farscape character and I mean CHARACTER!) following.
