The Never Ending Quest - Episode 39018

It was a rather large Gamma Omegan man. "I am Stra'a, and I have come to claim my mate and child - surrender them to me!"

Well, that pretty much says it all for this Stra'a's motivations, eh? He and his buddies apparently got together and went after Stra'a's wayward "mate" when she had the bad taste of skipping town after a one night fling, apparently. Now, how he should know that this crewmember of the Enterprise was pregnant with his child? How was he able to track down the flagship of the Federation so easily?

....

Well, those and other pressing questions will perhaps be revealed in time, hopefully.

Now, however, what was happening in another thread is happening here as well, despite the lack of this "mate"--he transgendered knight previously known as Frederigo D'Honaire, now named Lt. Uhura (btw, who looks exactly like the Star Fleet communication officer)--and Captain Kirk. Yeah, the person who answered Stra'a's hale had been another communications officer and Spock had been in the command chair when things had come to a head, but all the same it was basically the same. They even, like in that other episode (re: 18363) beam aboard through the Enterprise's raised shields in the end, despite certain events that had kicked things up from Yellow Alert to Red Alert (who's klaxon scream had managed to break through the muffling spell the Oracle had placed upon the room the TARDIS now found herself in).

Meanwhile, back down below inside the ship in the room where Kirk and the others are, things had been getting a bit....er....tense. The runner who'd been sent down to find Kirk and Uhura had been intercepted in route by Stra'a's friends, interrogated and forced to lead them all into the very room that the TARDIS just landed!

Quiet rude, actually, the interruption. Belinda had just gotten around to introducing herself (drawing a few blinks when she'd said though she'd been named "Belboz", "Belinda" would do all considered) when they'd stormed in and ordered everyone's hands up into the air. Being that the gatecrashers were had a bead on Belinda and Hannah Fredrics (who STILL was both naked and confused about her new surroundings and such), the Champions had little choice but comply. The reasoning they all had was to wait for an opportune time and . . . redress the issue when these thugs were less attentive.

The centaurs, spell frozen still, weren't a factor at all in this mess. Well, maybe in a way. See, with the onset of Centaur Flu Uhura/Fred got changed from the dark skinned woman she had been into a blonde, lighter skinned centaur. She looked nothing like her old self because to be blunt about it, the only kind of centaurs created by that particular strain of Centaur Flue are (their humanoid part) Caucasian. Ah, but we also know that Kirk got changed as well, so it stands to reason that his form got changed as well. He was now a dark haired and maned centaur male, with deep green eyes that replaced the hazel ones he'd been born with. The centaurs wouldn't even sound the same! So, in all even computer records of retinal patterns and voice patterns wouldn't give a clue to their old selves. Only if these centaurs told these gatecrashers (or any of the Enterprise's crew) would the truth be known. That or perhaps a mind meld from Spock....

Being that the centaurs' minds had been hormone clouded, rather doubt that they were in the mood for talking with anyone. As for Spock, he had problems of his own with these invaders.

So, when it appears that the Captain and Uhura aren't here the invaders try strong arm tatics to get the missing's location. Standard operating procedure for thugs, but they make an almost fatal mistake.

NEVER do you want to threaten the life of Sigin's mate/wife idly unless you want a battle on your hands! Being that only the Doctor, with his unusual martial arts style (Venusian Aikido) can perhaps match and overcome Sigin's centuries of experience and practice.....

Well, you can guess what happens...

As it is, the thugs never knew what hit them. Broken wrists, jaws. Dislocated joints! Various ruptured versions of the spleen or whatnot. Thugs are lucky that Sigin pulled his punches near the end or our Gamma Omegians would be ready for the morgue!

"Frell me!" Chiana swears, looking over wide eyed at the panting (and wild eyed) Sigin.

"Is that a promise, love?" Sigin smiles, still a bit wild eyed, but calming down.

  1. "What the Hell?" the runner, a female Redshirt Security Guard whispers, still not sure just exactly this fancily dressed madman had just done. "And what is that . . . . sniff . . . . . snort . . . . smell?"
