Maybe they ARE trying to help me, Omega thinks, just before he loses consciousness. Inquirer I look down at the unconscious form in my arms. As the mask crumples and flakes away, revealing a face that is an exact duplicate of the wedding guest with a penanche for wearing "unreal" stalks of celery on the lapel, several things flash through my magically equivalent positronic mind. One is to personally thank that little fellow, Rugen, for doing what he did to make this possible. Champion or not, getting knocked into a coma is serious! Another is how peaceful....and happy...Omega looks now as he sleeps. The smile on his face is rather fitting. Poor foul sounded so terrible before now and I'm glad we could free him thusly of that tortured existence. However peaceful looking, Timelord of legend or no, there is still a job to do. Hmm... Speaking of things to do... "Sigin, are you alright?" I ask as I gently lay down Omega on the crypt floor, "You look kind of unsteady there." Sigin "Nothing that I shan't be able to cope with," I answer readily enough, a bit distracted as I look over Colin, "Not sure about Colin here, though. Something caused this 'disruption' for the control of Omega over him to get out of hand. I don't think any damage was done here, but I think...." A quick magical examination proves the young man is well enough, but he will be out for days from the shock. Wonder what caused that? I ask myself. Cause could have a dozen fathers, but I put it down to the rather unusual controller we had been pitted against. Omega's mind, from all reports, is a very formidable thing indeed. Fraught with unknown qualities, even. A quick consult with Rassilon (a peer and friend of Omega) had said such was possible, these unknowns...but had been sure my kind of spells should work well enough.... Still, that disruption had some familiar quality to it. I can almost swear that I'd encountered similar relatively recently... Ah, but enough idle wondering! We have much still to do, even more than anticipated. One of us needs to keep an eye on both Colin and Omega whilst we do a sweep of the crypt to gather any Galifreyan items we do not wish to fall into the wrong hands. That duty falls to me and I rather do take the task seriously. Don't believe that either Omega or Colin are in danger of awakening during that short distraction whilst we do that, but I've seen odder things in my two thousand plus years (2011, but who is counting?) Sweep done and items (stolen or otherwise) gathered after Inquirer locks the door (do not need a repeat of what happened to Omega to happen to us). Odd things like a dead guardian's body are loaded into Omega's still functional TARDIS, along with Colin's camping gear. We then make a very short hop to the surface in order to take care of one of our two sleeping passengers. Colin's in no danger of death, but medical attention would make his recovery that much swifter. Now, we could just somehow drop Colin off at a hospital for that, but the awkward questions we would likely face by doctors over just how we found Colin thusly and such don't appeal. Then there would be a deathly worried Robin for that period of time until Colin awakens and all that. Well, we could just tell him where we stashed him, but why go through all that when a somewhat simpler, more eloquent way is possible. Later... Whispered words by an invisible Inquirer assures a still groggy Robin that his friend is alright but medical attention would make his recovery so much faster. Coming more fully awake Robin finds Colin, out cold in his sleeping bag, surrounded by increasing numbers of disapproving gardeners. Still concerned for his lack of passport, Robin's loyalty to friends still makes the young man stay to aid his friend. Glad for that outcome, Inquirer sneaks off to Omega's TARDIS. That done, the Doctor lands it near his TARDIS. With human seemings back on the elves and a likely story for awkward questions (just in case), our group piles out of Omega's TARDIS (quickly locking up for later recovery by Rassilon's guards) and then into the Doctor's TARDIS. ..... I must say I am rather surprised at not garnering more attention than we did in that exercise than we did. However, we did it and I thank the Lord that we did! The TARDIS soon appears back upon Nantucket Earth, scant moments (their clock) after we had left. Exiting with our still unconscious patient in tow, we are greeted. As expected, Rassilon and his plainclothes guards have met us at this pre-arranged landing zone (the Doctor's TARDIS being that much more steerable than his old Type 10). What is odd is who is with them. Later we shall find out that Loam and his current girlfriend (a fine appearing Shewolf female manimal) had been amusedly viewing the antics of a pack of young human teens who still somehow had the energy and desire to play a live action version of Werewolf. Despite hard work and the shock of recent events about Nantucket, these boys (and a few young women) still followed old habits. That said, the two manimals found it funny indeed to listen and watch, all the same... When Rassilon group came with a gleefully chatting Diane Walker, and add the TARDIS arriving will cause attention to come our way.
