Gilmuriel "What's going on?" Gladia Delmarre, over to the side, whispers in a somewhat shaky voice. "What do you mean about the future?" She seems, at the moment, to have at least temporarily overcome her aversion to crowds and has crept nearer to us elves. Understandable, actually, considering that due to ordinary elves standing only a mere four feet tall. The only beings on Terra Prime who are shorter than us are the demifox people, who stand a foot shorter than us. Smaller, in her minds, mean less threatening. Thus this situation. "I suggest you sit down for this while I explain," I say gently before explaining the situation to her. In the end, she's just staring at me like I've lost my mind. Then, looking over at the new Golem, she seems to be trying to come up with another explanation.....and I can see on her face that she's having no luck what so ever. "Believe me, I at least have an inkling on how you feel, Mrs. Delmarre," Baley says gently, softly at her chair's side. Gladia starts slightly, but then as she and Baley speak so as to get a better handle on things, I notice she seems to be....warming towards this fascinating Earthman. He intrigues her, I can see. And the reverse seems to be true as well.... Don't know how I exactly feel about that, I sigh, looking at what I take as a wedding band on Baley's finger, Inquirer, in that story of yours was Baley married? Yes, he is...but that's not really our business..... Inquirer sighted, I am not comfortable with knowing about what I knew about the Robot series, and what had eventually happened. Creator, after all not everything must follow that scifi series! In the end, even though he slipped whiel he was...."out of it", Baley stayed true to his wife in the end! Inquirer, I got the feeling, didn't want to talk about this subject any more, and I kind of shared that feeling as well.... Bad to poke your nose into...... Hello? a new, female voice interrupts, mentally. We all turn and see it's the newborn Golem, who's blinking at us in surprise. Her gem in her forehead is sparkling prettily, despite that forehead being wrinkled a bit by uplifted eyebrows and such. A forehead similarly free of glyphes like Daneel's..... Daneel has a similar surprised look on his face as well. Partner Elijah's wife, he told me, has been dead for two years now,
he said softly, mentally to us all.
